The first seed of Fundación Florecer Ecuador – Sisay Warmi was planted in March 2024, born from joy, purpose, and a shared vision to empower women and their circles of relationships. Our foundation emerged as a heartfelt call from the universe — guided by the conviction to support women in nurturing the self-sustainability of their projects through knowledge, mentorship, and collective growth.
Every woman carries a dream worth realizing. Our dream is to walk beside them, offering the tools and guidance needed to transform their aspirations into sustainable, purpose-driven projects. We believe empowered women become beacons of hope — inspiring their families and communities to live with confidence, compassion, and harmony with Pacha Mama (Mother Earth).
We are a non-profit social organization legally established in Ecuador.
At Fundación Florecer Ecuador – Sisay Warmi, we are dedicated to promoting the knowledge, recognition, and exercise of women’s rights and those of their circles of relationships. Our work focuses on creating opportunities for learning, empowerment, and collaboration that help women strengthen their talents and leadership.
Through personalized mentorship, holistic guidance, and community-based projects, we support women in developing their initiatives with purpose and sustainability—encouraging knowledge exchange, self-reliance, and a better quality of life for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Meaning of Our Name
“Florecer” means “to bloom” in Spanish, and “Sisay Warmi” means “Blooming Woman” in Kichwa, the ancestral language of the Andes. Together, they represent the spirit of growth, renewal, and connection with nature. Our name embodies the belief that every woman has the power to bloom — to grow with purpose, strength, and harmony with Pacha Mama (Mother Earth).
Our mission is to empower and accompany women and their circles of relationships in developing and sustaining their projects through education, mentoring, and holistic advisory. We aim to strengthen personal capacities, revive ancestral knowledge, promote fair work opportunities, and encourage the protection and conservation of the environment.
To become a national and regional reference in the empowerment and guidance of women — fostering knowledge exchange, mentorship, and capacity-building for sustainable, environmentally conscious development.
A CALL
After more than 20 years in Ecuador’s inbound tourism industry, life gifted me the chance to connect with organizations, communities, and families building projects of hope. It was there that a new dream was born — to listen deeply to women, help shape their ideas and accompany them in turning their visions into reality.
I deeply believe in the power of sharing experiences and in the feminine energy that creates, nurtures, and transforms. This energy can change lives — of a person, a family, a community, and even Pacha Mama herself.
AN INSPIRATION
From the joy of understanding that impermanence is the essence of life, I accepted the call to join the dream that became FLORECER. From this space, I channel my energy and creativity into inspiring others and affirming that everything is possible when it comes from the heart.
A MOTIVATION
As a co-founder of Fundación Florecer, I remain committed to creating opportunities for more women and their circles to build fairer, more equal, and sustainable futures.
Through my experience, I accompany entrepreneurial women in developing their projects — guiding them in areas such as financial planning, accounting, and sustainable business management.
An artist and graphic designer with 20 years of experience in communication, I apply creativity as an effective tool in every educational and communication project I manage.
